Viva Non reached out to me about performing a set before he DJ'd at First Fridays at Little Brown Jug Brewing Company, and I jumped at the opportunity.

I had a bit of a self-doubt jitters when I was trying to get my sound gear to do what I was hearing in my head. I was getting frustrated and panicked and took a step back. Zahra gave me a pep-talk and reminded me to "follow my Eno and follow the mistakes". I went back to the desk and sort of figured it out while collecting myself.

The nerves mostly went away, James was super supportive and complimentary at the venue, and the response overall was wonderful. I could even hear what I was doing in the monitor, which was nice.

Listening back to the performance, there's a whole lot of great stuff here. There were also a heap of "jazz moves" that I let repeat and follow until it sounded normal. Yes, I meant to do that!

Big thanks to James for inviting me to play, Chris & David & Jeff & Lee for sitting upfront, the wonderful staff at Little Brown Jug, and Zahra for talking my performance anxiety away and being my biggest booster.
